Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by Switch Media Walls (“we”, “us”, “our”). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services

We provide bespoke carpentry services including media walls, wall linings, partitions, custom storage solutions, and design consultation across the East Midlands region.

3. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices are fixed once work commences unless additional work is requested. We reserve the right to adjust pricing for unforeseen complications or additional materials required.

4. Payment Terms

A deposit of 50% is required before work commences. The remaining balance is due upon completion of work. Payment methods accepted include bank transfer, cheque, or cash.

5. Cancellation Policy

Work may be cancelled up to 48 hours before the scheduled start date with full refund of deposit. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur charges for materials already ordered.

6. Warranty

We provide a 12-month workmanship guarantee on all installations. This covers defects in our work but does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse.

7. Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of work performed. We maintain public liability insurance and will provide proof upon request. We are not liable for damage to existing structures unless caused by our negligence.

8. Health and Safety

We comply with all relevant health and safety regulations. Customers must ensure safe access to work areas and notify us of any hazards. Children and pets should be kept away from work areas for safety.

9. Electrical Work

While we handle internal wiring for media walls, all final electrical connections must be completed by a certified electrician. We can recommend qualified professionals but are not responsible for their work.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and take effect immediately.
